![]() Not really. You missed a cool ride, but we've got Julian coming up in a couple of weeks (next weekend I think?), and I've got two more really fun rides planned before July. I would like to ask all that are planning on going to RL to do everything they can to make all three of the forum rides between now and then (I originally posted Julian for a Saturday, but I'm going to blow off another commitment and make it Sunday so Sergio can go). It's not that Mark and I want to evaluate your skills.... it's that I want to make sure that everyone is comfortable with each other and with my pace on the highway. I know you and Art are at home at 90mph, but we've got a couple of riders planning to go that are relatively new to group rides, and 1000 miles from home is not the place to decide that you're riding with a group of guys that stresses you out. We got the basics covered at the last meeting. We'll be calling probably 2 meetings closer to the departure date, and anyone wanting to go will be required to be at one of the two. The first meeting will probably be at the end of the June ride, and the second one just before we leave.

Brenda and I are in...we've kinda dropped off the face of the earth. Doing some long overdue painting, tiling, replacing ceilings, etc. around the house It's keeping us from riding last and this weekend. Hopefully be all done within the next 2 weeks.

That's what I thought
Gonna have to ask you to plan for a Saturday off in June though. I've got a ride planned that we can't do on a Sunday for reasons that you'll find out. I'll let you know as soon as I pin the date down.

Since we're off on Friday for the 4th holiday, I'm just taking the entire week.
Still a bit up in the air on meeting at Art's Monday or Tuesday night with an early Tuesday or Wednesday departure.... right now, leaning toward the Tuesday "final staging" and Wednesday departure. Return is also a bit up in the air... not sure whether we're leaving RL Sunday morning or Monday morning... we might end up playing that one by ear while we're there... if we come home a day early, it'll give everyone an extra day off to recover before going back to work.

Yay! It's awesome seeing all the trip come together. We will have a blast guys. Open road, loud pipes and no freaking work. Yay! I am waiting on my pipes. I will get them late next week. Almost there. After that, the PowerCommander, then the pulleys and Red Lodge. Ha ha! Overly excited here guys. I will check again for the gel seat when I go pickup my headlight visor on Tuesday.

So the ride for the 19th is moved to the 20th? That actually works out better for me cause I was blowing off work on the 19th that I shouldn't be blowing off.

He still has the V2K... and if he doesn't have a bike suitable for Lynn to ride, I don't think he'll feel her on the back of that bike.

The Kawi (Saddleman) Gel seat (and probably any seat for the Classic) will work on the custom, but the bracket needs to be modified. to move the pins away from the pan slightly... you can weld, so it shouldn't be a problem.
