On a happier note, Bert's was able to find my tire. The price? Blah, too many zeros to type. As usual, expensive as F---! but I needed it. The law of supply and demand. I will need that other thingy the goes around the rim (thingy is a word a lot of people use, so I gave in), so I cannot replace the tire just yet!

could it be your inner tube????? the only other "thingy" that we know of, would be what we call the rim tie, or as Gary said rim tape.

I have no clue what that is...........I have never done a web site, using a program to try and get it started, hopefully, once I transfer it to another host( wanna eventually go with someone like yahoo with unlimited space and bandwidth)

I am hoping we will have someone who can take it over as a webmaster that knows what they are doing

but thanks

I meant the rim strip. You guys were right on the money. Now I know why I get mad at work when people use "thingy". It can stand for everything!

Nahh... we don't want to (or have the space or bandwidth or time, well, okay, Mark has the time until he finds a job) to make it another forum. We'll keep the convos here and on VROC and use the calendar to link to them. The web page will be primarily to skirt the Photobucket storage and bandwidth BS, and provide a common area for everyone in SoCal to check and cross-reference.

Hope you find a job soon, Mark. You said that you might be losing yours, didn't know it happened so fast. Sorry.

Not me... well... kinda.
I'd take some time off and ride all 50 states on a new Harley.
I'd buy Mark a new bike.
I'd get out of my condo and into a detached house with my nearest neighbor, ohh... maybe 200 feet away... and I'd buy him a new bike so he wouldn't complain when my club comes over for a pool party.

It would fun going to work every day and your boss knowing you didn't need the money. You'd just be there to make his life miserable!

I get along great with my boss.

We have a mutual understanding. He gives me raises and doesn't micromanage me, and I keep his customers VERY happy, file detailed trip reports, and don't blow the expense account budget.

I've been here two weeks and haven't had a boss check on me yet. As long as I stay in my box, give the guys what they need, I'm good.

They need TOOLS, by the way.
