Hey gang,This message is for anyone that may live in North Carolina or close by and could ride over to Scootworks on April 2nd. Go to www.scootworks.com and click on Scootworks Spring Extravaganza when it scrolls by on the scootworks main page.Its gonna be a big motorcycle day with lots of things going on,so check it out!

Yeah flynsouth,i would like to meet some of the kawasaki riders that post on here if they can make the trip to scootworks. Also,are you gonna ride on march 19th from Cary thru Asheboro,then over to Troy for lunch,then back to Cary,or something like that on some group ride thats going on?

The19th is the Carolina Cruz, a benefit for the local CBA and yes I'll be there. I'll be with the Greater Raleigh Southern Cruisers but if you send me a note with your cell or something I'll call you when we are in Apex or Asheboro, depending on where you're joining the crowd. I plan to be at Scootworks on the 2nd for most of the day and hopefully ride in the poker run, just depends on the family life. Look forward to meeting up with you, I'll be on that weird orange colored meanie!!.

The Scootworks thing sounds like it may be fun - that's only about 3 1/2 hours from me.

The Outer Banks Bike Week is 5 days later, beginning on April 6th. I plan to be there on Saturday the 9th. FS, I think you were trying to round up some interest in this area??

Flynsouth,I'll be riding up to Asheboro to join the group there,waiting on you guys. I hope rbentnail(lives right there in Asheboro)will come along for the ride! He just got'em a new 1500 classic and i'm sure if he can that he would like to go!! Maybe he will stumble across this and read about it. I'll be on a 03 Vulcan classic 1500,its that dark red color that looks black unless the sun shines on it! Has cobra long shots,chrome side covers,and a few other chrome acess. on it! Look for me!!!

Brancher, I backed off since right now I haven't got a clue when I'll get free this summer and may just have to just take it as it comes. I'll be at Scootworks on the 2nd and depending on weather, family and work hoped to ride out to the Outer Banks on Saturday the 9th as well. It's about 3 1/2 hours from Lake Gaston where I'll be Friday so hoped to get there mid morning and leave late afternoon. I'll send you a note when it gets closer if you want to hook up sometime that day.

Kenny, I'll look for you guys in Asheboro, I don't know all the logistics I'm just following the crowd on this one.

That a work. Yeah.we are meeting at a BP station across from Mcdonalds in Asheboro. You guys are supposed to leave Apex at 10:00 am.(I think)
