Hey Calvin.... do a search for Progressive 412
There's a guy with a set of 12"ers he's selling for $150... decided not to put them on his Meanie.

They're still shorter than stock, but I think they're longer than what you have.

Thanks for looking out...I pm already looking for part number. Base on my research it fits most VN1500 E....drifter is J with the fat fender on the side. Base on that picture he posted, it looks fat......drifter's shocks are skinny. I need to drop yours off soon to mark or something.

    Bummer.

So what's on there now? Are they not Progressives, or did someone cut the stock coils?

Worst case, you could order OEM from BTK.

What's the shop doing to it now? Still having problems with the final drive?

You're not repainting those beautiful tins, are you?

Ya know... I wish I had thought of this before I ordered the parts from BTK... I think a kickstand swap would solve both of our problems if yours is chrome.

In 2006, Kawi changed part numbers and went to a shorter kickstand on the 1600. Prior to that, the 1500, 1600, Nomad, and Meanie all used the same one. Now, the 1500 and 1600 use a shorter one.

I'm betting that my stand is about 1-2" shorter than yours.
