I would like to tentatively sign up. My schedule is a little sketchy right now and I do not see that changing very quickly. Maybe I could hook up with mcneese and usmalenurse since we are not far apart.

Sounds good. I think I was out your way today. Don't remember exactly where but I just got on 27E till it turned into 50 south I think. I think I was in Turkey and Warsaw. Something like that.

I'll be leaving Concord and taking the long way down to Albemarle, so anyone in Charlotte that wants to leave out a bit early and ride down prior to 1, let me know!

Thanks, Dave. I didn't mean it to be strictly NC. I just knew there were a bunch of us and figured it'd be easier to meet up with them.

Definitely open to anyone that wants to come!

Not at all. I know we had a few in SC mention coming, but I thought it anyone farther away was interested in spending the weekend, it's a nice area to ride in and might make a good destination.

No Doubts,

I am in SC actually. I will be coming through Charlotte to get there so if you guys want to meet somewhere after the interstate, that would be great with me. There will be two of us. 1 Yamaha and myself, lol. There is a small possibility that my wife will come too, but I won't hold my breathe for that one, lol.

I can't wait. I need something like this too.

tell her there will be other wives there too. that usually helps my wife get comfortable with it.

The only reason I say that is she will want to ride her own bike rather than sit on the back of mine that long. We may not have a bike for her by then depending on whether the 09s come in by then. I don't think I will want her on the back of the bike for a 10 or 12 hour day.

Yup, we will be coming straight up 85 to Charlotte. takes about an hour to get that far.

I would like to make it but I have plans the weekend before.
I am probably leaving Sept. 19 to head to Chattanooga for the Trail of Tears ride on the 20th.

The more the merrier....looking forward to it. I'm heading out in the AM for the mountains and going to take the scenic route out through Albemarle and Mooresville up to Boone area. Might check out Morrow Mountain while I'm passing through. Anybody up in the northwestern mountains this week and happens to see an '06 Ebony/Silver Classic that's not in a hurry to get anywhere in particular...flag me down and let's ride!
