NC Riders - Morrow Mountain 27 September

OK, I decided to go ahead and set a date. I know this is right after Dave's run to Deal's Gap but I have family coming in the first weekend in Oct and I didn't want to wait into the middle of Oct. No idea what I'll do when I get there or exactly where I'll be riding, but if anyone is interested and can make it, I'll be there around 1 PM on 27 SEP. If anyone wants to meet up, post in here and we can coordinate exactly where we'll meet, eat and ride.

Hi Ryan,

I am planning (somewhat tentatively) to be there. Count me in. It's about a 3 hour ride there + whatever we do after I get there. Looking forward to good eats, meeting new friends, a good ride and a fun weekend!

Sounds great! Like I said, I'm going even if no one else shows. If I don't do it I never will. I need it for more than one reason. I'm hoping that someone that knows the area will be along. Either way, I'm sure we'll figure something out.

That will make 2 of us that don't know the area. I know a lot about the asheville area and a good bit about western TN, and a whole lot about Greenville SC, Charlotte NC, and anything in between, but this will be new area for me.

Can't wait! I am still wondering if we can get my wife a bike by then. That would be a fun ride for her too.

Wild Deuce,Lets have everybody just ride up to the top of morrow mountian where there's plenty of parking. Say 2:00 and then around 3:00 or 3:30 we can ride over to a place called Jay's and eat. This place has a country style buffet that is some more good!! If anyone needs to know,Morrow Mtn. is right outside of Albemarle,so if you can make to there,anybody can point you in the direction to Morrow Mtn. Plus i can post my cell number (if needed) in case ya get lost!!!

Will be there if nothing happens. Look forward to meeting up. It's about a 3 hour ride from my house so the time frame is fine. Sounds like a plan to me....may even bring the missus, she's always complaining that I don't take her for a ride.

Not hard to find deuce. You'll be going in on 24/27 and Morrow Mountain will be on your right before you get into Albemarle. Just after you cross the Pee Dee river, I think it's Valley road or something and it runs into Morrow Mountain road.

I'm in! The wife and I will be there on the Vulcan. I'm not real familiar with the area as far as eats, but Albemarle has plenty of places. If nothing else, I believe there is a Ryan's buffet. Motorcycle riders LOVE to eat lots, right?

The wife and I will try and make it. It really depends on how well she is doing after her surgery. She has a hernia and has to have surgery the end of this month.

This is my first post, and I know the deal about pictures, but I ask for
forgiveness. I don't know much about computors and don't know how

One thing I'd like to let you in on. If you go to Jay's Seafood to eat,
they DO NOT accept DEBIT CARDS. Great place to eat though. They
have two buffet bars. One seafood and one country style.
Will stop rambling now, but just want to say I enjoy this forum very

As far as pictures, open a photobucket account (free), upload your pictures from your computer. Then copy the IMG link under the picture and paste into a new post.

Hey wild deuce. You've just about got to come by my house from ft. bragg to go to morrow mtn. Do ya wanna lets ride over to the mountian together on the 27th.? We can go on up about an hour early and be there just in case some others come early!! Just a thought! I too know a little about albemarle since my wife's from there!

No problem. I've been wanting to ride with some people and meet some of you from the forum. Figured if I didn't try and make something concrete it wouldn't happen. You know how things go. Definitely looking forward to it.

Riding up together sounds good. As it gets closer we'll work out when and where we'll link up. I live right off of 24 in Cameron so depending on which way you're coming from you could just meet at my house and we could go from there. We'll work it out though.
