Ok folks, heres a basic idea, if everyone leaves the marina about 830am, and it takes an hour of so to get to the Rockefeller lookout on the other side of the river, (before you get to 9W) ill wait for you guys there. Ill show up about 9/915. Then on to B Mtn, and SK mtn. if we go north to SK and then turn back south, we can cross the river @ Bmtn bridge and head up Route 9, and down a couple of decent roads, to my place for a BBQ, if everybodies cool with that?
If it sounds like a good idea, i guess just chime in and let me know how many are going to make it. |

OK heres a couple of shots i made up to figure things out,
1- Everything  2- LI/NYC guys meeting place  3- Rockefeller Lookout, Stop 1, (where ill meetup)  4- Bear Mtn Circle to Storm King Mtn  5- after SKmtn, we turn back and redo the route to Btmn bridge, cross over ($1 toll) then take BMtnBridge Rd down the mtn.  6- A little detour to my place, from Annsville circle, up Route 9 to Rt 403, then to Snake Hill rd (rt 111) then back south on Rt 9.  Let me know if any of this sounds good, or anybody has a different idea. |

looks like we might be getting hit with some Hurrican Hannah remnants on Saturday and maybe Sunday, what day do you want to set the rain date for just in case?

sunday the 14 might not be good for me either, i might have to work........what about Sunday Sept. 21 as a rain date........?
the forecast on National and Local Weather Forecast, Radar, Map and Report and www.accuweather.com actually looks good for Sunday, the storm is supposed to hit Saturday.........for Sunday it says partly cloudy in the 80's so we will see as we get closer........... fidgit: maybe you can check out those websites with your zip code just to make sure.........i think we'll be okay tho......... everything looks ok, it all says saturday; light rain, sunday 80's and SUNNY. so i think we will be all right but ill keep an eye on it.
ps- Garrison is 10524, peekskill is 10566, thats near me and the Bmtn Bridge, im not sure what SK mtn is though |

yea im with john, so far it only looks like rain saturday, even then its not definite. im still looking forward to riding this weekend. I say we plan on sunday and just keep an eye on the sky...

Just remember,Robb...There`s something to be said about an honest day`s work.....It SUCKS !! lol
I can go this week and next,doesn`t matter to me.. If it turns out Bear Mtn will be next week,I believe there`s something going on in Riverhead this weekend..as long as I can ride somewhere.. John

my boss really doesnt like me so she might not let me switch saturday fior sunday at this point. theres something to be said about a woman in charge of 30 guys. FAT OBNOXIOUS KNOW-NOTHING B1TCH! .
anyhow, maybe ill get lucky and get to go finally. ill know tomorrow for sure.
