Default Looking:: Southern Ohio: Northern WV::

I like to go on rides that I can Camp out a night or two. I have been looking at Southern Ohio. There are some State Parks there to camp at. By State road 7 along the Ohio river. Looks good ??? South fork is one state park I looked at on the map.Northern WV Rt 7 to Rt 20. Like the twisted roads.
Any input would be GREAT. I hate to sit in traffic on a road I thought was seanic.

Not familiar with the campgrounds you mention but I use the following links for researching:

State Parks of the United States
National Park Service - Experience Your America
United States Parks

On our trip this year we found two nice state parks in Kentucky, Boonesboro State Park and Pennyrile State Park were both very nice. This weekend we camped in Cook Forest here in PA which is also quite good.

Thanks! I went on a fact finding trip today. It was a good ride. Down Rt7 along the river, then north on 260 to 26 . Rt26 was just paved nice ride. Then south on 800 back to Rt7. Then on the ferry to sisterville WV. Then RT7 in WV to Morgantown.

That was quite a ride and you had excellent weather for it. Southern West Virginia also offers some excellent riding, at least on the eastern side of the state.

Where are you talking about? I would like to go there. I thought I would camp at a state park in Pa. But I can go anywhere. I heard about Greenbrier state park in WV but ????I don't know where.
P.S. Where are you in southwest Pa. I am in Bentleyville along RT70

Well, we got off the BRP just north of Roanoke and went west into WV. I think the best road was Rt. 39.
