Just wanted to let you knows know, Carie and I overslept. I have been burning the candle at both ends this weekend and I had a total of 3 hours of sleep in 48 hours. Last night I got home about 2:30 from DJing and I had every intention of getting up. I had 3 alarms set and slept through them all. Carie sort of woke me up for the last one, but we fell right back asleep. By time I realized what was going on it was 9am and we would not have made it to Brady's by 10 from where we live.

Hope you guys have / had a good trip and we'll hopefully see you on the next one.

-Mike

Yeah, what a great ride and once again in perfect weather. Okay, a little cool in the morning but as the day wore on we were shedding clothes but that's okay. What are the odds we'll get to do another group ride 2008 in such nice weather? Thanks for an excellent day folks, Lora and I really appreciated it. Oh, Ken is missing from the group photo because he took it.

I'm guessing at the little wedding pavillion, right John? That's a popular spot.

Yep, the lake sure is pretty... especially this time of year. Unfortunately, our boat's out of the water. We've had to pull it in freezing rain or snow flurries too many times to wait until the end of October to get 'er done. That's no fun at all. You just never know...

Glad you had a great day riding w/friends.

Unless I missed it, what was the date of the wedding?

Seriously? You wanna run for the left coast? With side trips for sight seeing and taking back roads as much as possible it would be about 6,000 miles round trip. I did 4,000 on the ride last year so what's another 2k? Problem would be getting that much time off from work. I'm assuming we aren't going for several consecutive iron butt awards.
