I had a bad day today. We went to get my bike out of the storage unit and bring it back to my stepdaughter's apartment so I could clean it and get it ready to pack up. It wouldn't start. We had to call the local Kawi dealer to come pick it up, and they're going to work on it tomorrow. I hope it's something simple like a gummed-up fuel line or something. It cranks but it just won't start. This bike has been 100% dependable. It *always* starts. Why today, of all days? ARGH!!!!!

Glad to hear you're through your first day, Dawn. Maybe now it won't be so hot.

Perry, we're going to be staying at the Holiday Inn (I think it's an Express), and I *think* the Luvs are at the Comfort Inn. I hope we see you there!

I bought some snacks for the trip today. But nothing to compare to Dawn and Annie's.

We still have ALL the snacks because I packed them in an unaccessible area... Duh!! So, stick, we still have pretzels filled with peanut butter!
We did great... I lead the whole way, poor Annie! LOL!

You *have* to lead, Dawn. There's no way you can stay up with that C14.

Annie's tire in front is showing only 32 lbs on the monitor.. She filled it to like 36, but upon arrival here, it was reading 32 again... Any thoughts?

Sorry to hear that Julie about the bike. It's likely something simple. By chance did you treat the gas before putting it into storage?

It could be the tire was heated up. Check the tire pressure again before you start riding while the tires are cold and see how it reads. Add air if needed then.

Yes, we did. And we took the batteries with us and put them on the trickle chargers, so at least the battery is in good shape! It was pretty hot in that storage unit; not sure whether that would make a difference.
