Its July Man, its spozed to be the dry season. Then again, maybe all that sun and dry weather in June was our summer?

We're leaving tomorrow (Thursday) morning. The Luvs are riding up from Denver to meet us here in Fort Collins so we can ride together. We'll be staying in Buffalo tomorrow night.

I just talked to the dealer. I feel like an idiot!
We took the batteries out of our bikes when we put them in storage two months ago. We took the batteries with us and kept them on a trickle charger. When we got back to Fort Collins last week, we put the batteries back in the bike. But I didn't try to start mine until yesterday. When it didn't start, I thought that maybe the Power Commander was loose. I checked the Power Commander itself and looked at the wires under the seat, but I didn't see anything amiss. Well, it turns out that when Alan put the battery back in the bike, he managed to pull a PC wire under the battery, crimp it, and pull it loose. It took the service guy two hours to figure that out. (I don't think he knew that the battery had been out of the bike.) An expensive, STUPID mistake, but at least the bike is running. We're going to pick it up in a few minutes. Whew...

Glad to hear you got it running. It sucks that something so simple can take so long to track down and become so expensive.

Where's the party?
I just rolled into RL and it looks like I'm the first. It's a bit chilly so bring your woolies. I look forward to meeting everyone. Mike

Wow, Mike. You're already there? You get to greet everyone as they roll in. See you on Friday!
I bought some cigars today so I'm all set.

I left on sunday morn and traveled roughtly 1,931.5 miles getting here. I was sucked into the badlands adn the black hills yesterday which added an extra 225 miles. Everything was so beautiful I just kept taking more roads.

Are you at the Alpine? If you are, give Larry and Trish a big hug for me.
Have you ridden over Beartooth Pass yet?
