I've only smoked a couple of cigars in my entire life, but I just had to join the fun this year. So I picked up a few. Mild ones that won't make me sick, hopefully!!! I have a bottle of booze in my t-bag, too. We remember how expensive it is to buy in RL, especially when you have to buy it from the bar!!!

Give Brian and Marilyn a big hug for us. Can't wait to see you! We'll be in Buffalo tomorrow night. We'll give you a call.

Roger made it here and we went out to dinner. We're doing some last minute visiting before we get some sleep.

We'll be leaving here at 8:00 AM heading to LoLo/Missoula. Friday morning we'll be heading to Red Lodge.

I can't wait to see all of you!!!

28-1/2 hours to go, and BT Donkey hits the road for Red Lodge. He's picked me to be chauffeur, so I've spent the last couple of days dotting all my "i"s and crossing all my "t"s. We'll head out Friday morning about 3:00am, keeping our eyes peeled for raccoons and deer. Washington Hwy 18 to I-90 to Montana Hwy 78 from Columbus down to Red Lodge for parts pickup, camp setup and dinner. I look forward to meeting the real people behind all these posts.

I would like to ask a favor of someone who will be at either the Alpine or the steak house. If for some reason I don't arrive and don't call, it would be nice if someone would be kind enough to notice and make a phone call or two to initiate a search and maybe call my wife. If someone is willing to do this, just let me know and I'll send a pm with the personal info.

It's 6:00 AM and I'm waiting for Roger to wake up. He's already ridden 300 miles yesterday to get here and we didn't get to sleep until around 11:30 last night.

The sun is coming up and no clouds in the sky. It appears to have all the design of a beautiful day...especially for riding!

I hope everyone is having a good trip (for those already on the road) and for those of you who have yet to leave...have a good ride and be safe!

I'm getting that butterfly feeling again. YES!!!
