Alan's interview in Colorado Springs went really well, and as long as the CEO of the company signs the job requisition (yes, really!), he'll have the job. We're not counting our chickens before they're hatched, but if he gets this job, not only will we be in Red Lodge, but our good friends who live in Colorado Springs will go with us. I'm going to call the Alpine this week to confirm our reservations. I just hope I won't have to cancel. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Is there an area for camping? If so, what's the camp called and do I need to reserve a site?

You can camp at the Alpine Lodge. They have a spot behind the building setup for that. There is a shower and "facilities" just for that purpose. There is also a KOA if I'm not mistaken right down the road.

As far as costs go? You'd have to call the Alpine Lodge for their camping rates.
