Weather looks to be a mix of warm and thundershowers for the next week or so. I've got your cell number but the phone will be off most of the time. We know where to find you and will see you next Wed.

WEll all packed, again,, new windshield installed and coated with Plexis, as well as all leading edges. Thats nice stuff indeed. Changed out the oil the other day, it only had 300 miles on it, but had been in all winter, and oil continuse to be the cheapest componant of a machine. Took the bike out day before yestersay for what turned out to be a 100 mile ride. It wsa qquite gusty, but other then a bump from the wind once in a great while I could hardly feel the wind at all. This should be a great ride, I would leave today, except I would have no one to ride with..

Those thunder showers may be a welcome relief while heading across all that desert.

Down there in the Phoenix area it gets blistering hot (as you know). I suspect more riding is done during the evening and at nights in that area.

Mr. Postman arrived a little while ago with the final piece to our RL puzzle.
He dropped off the 2 evaporative cooling vests I ordered a couple weeks ago.

We are ready to roll, can someone please fast forward us to the afternoon of July 8th?

No, because then I'd miss my ride through Utah.
