It breaks my heart that I can't commit to going. If we don't get to go, it'll be the first one I've missed. But right now we don't even know where we're going to be living. It's a little premature to start planning summer vacations.

I doubt that you will be the only people that have to make difficult choices over the coming yeras, But you must do what is best for YOU!..

We promis to take lots of pictures,, and dring the beer you would have etc..

But there will be an empty space there where you were supposed to be..

Not all lifes choices are easy.

It's good to see this get posted.

At the college where I work there is quite a shake up going on. We were told Friday 1-23-2009 that we have to cut our budget by 20%. Before that they were saying 12% and we could still breathe. Now we're all in shock. Like other businesses/companies we will not go unscathed. What we don't know is how many of us will lose our jobs.

All that being said...after the dust settles...if I'm still employed after the hammer falls...I'll plan on going too.

I have every intention of attenting for my first time this year. Already have the vacation scheduled. Now I noticed you have to be a party of 2 to get a room at the Alpine lodge. Since I am a single. Any nice single ladies wanna share? LOL

Bout Time!! I am very glad this is a go again this year. I plan on being there.

The past two years I have had to squeeze this trip into 6 and 5 days respectively. This year I want to wrap about 12 days of riding (camping) around the Red Lodge trip. So if anybody has any ideas please let me know. I am thinking of anything between July 4th and the 15th.

I'll be there too. I will be caging it this time though, as I'm planning a longer trip to the East side of the Continent this year somewhere.

I was just wondering, is this the 4th or 5th Red Lodge rally?. I thought it was the 5th, but it does say 4th in the thread intro.

I thought it was the 5th myself. We're having the 3rd PA Ride this summer and I thought the Red Lodge folks were a couple of years ahead of us. Has there been a temporal anomaly?
