Default Kids' gear?

Hello,

My almost-10 year old is riding with her Dad more and more. They just did a charity rideand if she's going to spend this much time on the bike with her father, then I want her to have good gear.

She has a good FF, and a Joe Rocket mesh jacket, but we got the jacket on closeout at new enough as an adult Small and it's still waaaaaay too big.

So where can I get good kids' gear.... cheap?

I've never seen kid's specific road gear.... I've got a HJC sled (just swap the shield and it's street) helmet that fits my 3 kid's heads... I've yet to find anything that would fit my 8 year old besides MX gear.

Here's a place I found online. They're in the UK bu they do ship to the U.S. I don't know anything about them - but they seem to have motorcycle clothing and gear in leather and textile for kids from age 3 to 15, some with armor.

May be worth a look.

I know what you mean, no one here seems to sell kids/young teenager motorcycle gear that's not moto-cross specific. I have a 15 yo daughter who wears a woman's joe rocket jacket, but it's also too big for her. I may check this out as well.

Check with Fox Creek... the have a good selection of styles, and they go by measurements rather than "sizes"... they also carry short and long "editions" of nearly all sizes.

They aren't cheap, but it's the ONLY jacket (and chaps/pants) she'll need until she grows out of them. My jacket is over 2 years old... been through rain and hail, temps in the 100s and temps in the teens, got 20,000 miles on that jacket and it still looks like new. I've never cleaned, oiled, or sealed it other than an initial treatment with mink oil when it was new.

I have seen kids jackets at rallies, but they were only in solid leather. Dunno if thats too hot for NJ. Ive seen girls red and purple jackets.

These came up for ebay apparel "mesh, girls" :

mesh Girl's, Apparel Merchandise, Motorcycle - buy and sell on eBay Motors.

and there was this one womens XS : $59
