I just wanted to share a site with my fellow big boneded riders out there.
I've been in the market for a quality rainsuit. Hell, who am I kidding? I've been searching for ANY rain suit that would fit my fat self just in case I get stuck in the rain while riding my bike. I found what I was looking for at BIG CAMO. I placed my order yesterday afternoon, about 2:30pm. I received my order via UPS at about 5:30pm this afternoon. Just over 24 hours is hard to beat. They are in Birmingham, AL and I'm in Nashville, TN, so it didn't have far to come, but nevertheless, it was quick. I found a place or two, locally, that had rainsuits that were supposed to fit me, but they wouldn't have fit if I were naked and covered in crisco. Trying over my clothes was a complete joke. They were sized about 4 sizes too small. Before placing my order, I called the customer service folks at BIG CAMO and gave them my sizes. He told me what size to order, and he was right one. They fit as well as I could have expected. They pants and jacket are plenty big to ensure comfort even while riding the bike. The stuff is top quality, and I suspect it will last a long time. I know I'm likely the fattest rider around, but thought others may be big enough to get some use out of it as well. Last edited by TripleDigitRide : 07-29-2009 at 08:39 PM. |
