Default Any guys with a ladies auit??

Hello everyone, I'm new here... So go easy on me aye!

I'm a east Asian male, 173cm tall. I'm in the market for a new suit. I would appreciate some kind advice from fellow riders whom might have experience. ...and would like their input.

For a little while I've checked various sites, looking at various styles for both men and woman and I've kinda mentally settled on something I like over at dainese but it's only available as a ladies cut and it being Italian, their sizing is weird, they're not standard European, US.. nor are they British Anyway, so far, I haven't been for a fitting yet but I'll try to make time over the next seven days.

I have however called ahead to the store regarding sizing and as far as I can tell, they do have stock of all sizes, even the larger plus sizes (don't think they're required here - gf says i'm about a UK 12/14). The female assistant taking the call wasn't very helpful, some of the things she said wasn't especially kind, either; mentions "ladies suits are specially cut to fit the curvature of the feminine figure", really? "men suits have extras, where ladies don't." I thought, I understand. We have balls! Then she goes on to say "it's rare to have man fitting into them but it's not entirely impossible."

Anyway, I'm curious. Are there any guys here who are brave enough to come out and say they're also wearing a ladies one-piece or two piece suit?? How do you find the fit? Comfy? Does it suit you?

I've seen women wear guys suits but not the other way around. I think women have special cut, more taper at the waist, darts up top to carry 2 packs of smokes. plus some of the colors are geared more towards a woman's preference. What ever it takes to make you more safe in a fall. Personally I don't think I could comfortably fit into a woman's suit,I just don't have the build for it.

Ladies cut has shorter arms, narrower waist, fuller hips and longer legs. The mans suit is more baggy in the crotch. The lady was telling you the truth. Now that doesnt mean it wont hurt to try them on. But I dont think youll be happy in the long run, just as Im not happy wearing mans clothing. But I only paid $20-40 for them ,as mans small are often on sale in the US, due to overstock. I wouldnt ever pay hundreds of dollars for something that doesnt fit me right.

There is no excuse for a man wearing Ladies clothing. The world is full of small stature men. Try Japan as an example.

Welcome to the forum! About biker clothing, I'm a member of the "Whatever Works Best" club. Suggest that you try on whatever you're considering. As you know there may be compromises you might have to make if you find that clothing designed for women works best. For example, if the available color is pink I'd give the item a miss, although from a safety perspective (perhaps more visible) it might still be a worthwhile choice. My wife sees no problem with men wearing pink even though I have reservations!

Yeah.. So i hear you but the men's suits I tried doesn't fit me very well, often they're too big or the legs are too short and not enough give in the butt. BTW, my waist is 75-77cm.

Thanks for the warm welcoming, it's nice to find a active community that seems friendly. Umm.. I'd wear pink, don't really have an issue with colours, have a few pink shirts actually - think it's more of a western stigma.
