Default Heated gloves

I'm wanting to buy heated glove for this winter. What brands are good and what brands should I avoid?

Gerbing just came out with new micro wire, less bulky, supposedly can't feel the wires and heats faster. The seel under their own name and to many other companies that relabel. Whatever you decide, I would recommend a dual controller. Without the controller, its just on and off. My wife and I find that the longsleeved jacket is toasty (need a long sleeved shirt) and the gloves warm so we turn down the jacket and turn up the gloves. Our gear is HD (made by Gerbing) with BMW controllers.
Good luck on your search.

I use Tourmaster's heated gloves. They work...ridden down into the high teens/low 20's. They are waterproof. Also, unlike some other companies, Tourmaster includes the temp controller...don't have to buy it seperately.

Downsides: they are a bit tight (for me anyway)...they do loosen up, but it can be a bit uncomfortable the first couple rides. Also, I HATE the way Tourmaster decided to run the wires...they run to the outside of the gauntlet...meaning you have to run the wires down your jacket sleeve, out the jacket sleeve, up inside the gauntlet (still outside the jacket though), outside the gauntlet...then hook them up.

But like I said...they do work and they do work well.
