AFX & other helmet "Size question"

If I could fit a small in any of the other brands which is 55-56cm could I fit an AFX FX90? even though the sizing for that brand is a bit weird since the small is 56-57cm. or will I have to go a size lower which will be an extra small.

My advice about helmets has been & always will be to never ask questions on this forum. Opinions vary so much and you would be much further ahead trying what you like and figuring it out on your own. I would follow Russ's suggestion and find a retailer to try the helmet on before buying it. It's a round versus square head type of thing.
