Default recommendations for rain gear?

HI Iv'e been riding for like 2 weeks now and I was wondering if you had some rain gear. WHat is it that you have? and Are you happy with it?

I have a helmet, leather gloves, and a leather jacket. So if im going to ride in the rain I will need to buy rain gear.... but what should I buy?

I have seen one piece suits and I like them. But what I was looking at where like $40 ones which is basically a sheet of plastic sown together in the shape of a person.

Does anyone recommend a particular brand, or a particular one piece suit?
Dont worry about budget.. Ill get to that when I get there.

I f you can use a rain suit here's a good price on one at cycleport.com
They make several other types of rain gear also. This suit is priced at $39.... down from $100+

Im glad to see your not going to be a fair weather rider man, take it easy though on the corners in the wet, the intersections where all the oil sits and give yourself more braking distance, the water will sharpen your skills very quickly.

I dont have far to travel to work so I can get away with out the best quality wet weather gear i have a moto dry jacket (take off of a dry rider) comes with a plastic back lining works well and a pair of plastic over through pants that my old man gave me from the old school days of riding, but they work so who am i to complain.

in my experience the dry rider brand makes the best. with the two piece i have gotten wet at long term highway speeds, the wind pushed the water up the pants at the waist.
