Alpinestars P1 leather jacket & GP Plus gloves

Well, my buddy who works for a trials bike shop offered me up a deal I couldn't pass up. His boss has taken a liking to me & let me get anything of of there end of season discount catalog I wanted at their cost. Of course I've been in the market for a leather jacket since the temp dropped here in PA. So I had limited selection to choose from because it was sizes they had an over stock on. I came across the Alpinestars section & they had GP Plus gloves in XL ($169.99 retail) and their P1 leather sport riding jacket in a Euro size 60 ($499.99 retail). Well I normally take a 56 or 58, but what the hell right? It fits great and my bill came out d*mn cheap!!

The gloves are excellent against wind protection & very comforatble. As for the jacket, well the sleeves are just a touch long but I'll deal with it for what I paid. It's absolutely the best jacket I've ever worn!! You don't feel any wind what so ever and it comes with a zip out vest liner also. Included in the jacket are removable hard backed elbow & shoulder pads. The back has extra padding stiched into the material.

He's a hell of a guy. The deal he gave me is a trade off for the fact I give him cost or monthly special pricing on aftermarket automotive parts for his S-10 he's modifying (airbag suspension products, custom body parts, car audio wiring & installation products). So it's a give & take situation really.

Now I need a sport bike worthy of the riding gear I now own...

I'll have to get the wife to snap a picture for me tonight if I get the chance. Of course not too many people pick their bike after they buy the gear, but my current bike is all black, so it fits. Which ever used sport bike I pick up will likely get repainted to fit my riding gear color scheme.
I'd love to pick up a new bike, but it's not in the budget for some time.
