    Default My new vest!!!

After getting my gear, I realized that I am riding a black bike... black boots, black jacket... black helmet... hmmm... not good. So, I contacted the great people at Vizibrite and started talking to them about a vest to wear over my armored jacket.

I had trouble thining about what I wanted on the vest, and then it was obvious!!! My friends, co-workers and I are big zombie movie fans... I started a joke website and organization called "The Anti-Zombie League" and even have several shooters shoot with me in competition as "Team Anti-Zombie League"... so... it was a natural:

    Front:

    Back:

Now it is an organization, shooting team AND motorcycle gang!!! (I go by Mad Dog at the AZL forums).

Yes, it's silly... but I can't help but giggle when I see it! I am sure others won't get the joke, or wont' understand, but those that do, will find it very funny...

    Too funny.

That reflective stuff will be good at night. Smart move!

All you need is a sawed off shotgun and a machete in a fork holster set-up and you're good to go.

Thanks all!! My wife thought I was nuts, but after seeing the finished product, she said she might one one as well!

Tod - You don't know how many time I have been asked if I am going to mount a shotgun rack to the handlebars... one guy at the gun store actually FOUND a mount for handlebars! It is meant to be used on ATVs, but would work on the Vulcan, I am sure with some slight modification. But... no thanks... neighbors already think I'm nuts enough!!

D-Day - You bet I have read it! I tried to actually contact the guy (Max Brooks) to try to get some autographed copies of it... but he is hard to get a hold of. Did you know that he is the son of Mel Brooks?!?!? I didn't until I did some digging... so, probably not going to get his phone number. The book is great though!!

You all can check out the website, although it is pretty dead right now... I keep gearing up to re-tool the whole thing and start actually TRYING to get members, but just been too busy shooting and riding my bike!!

Wicked...that is the BEST (fun and safety)! That would be cool if all your riding buddies did up vests and you all went to a bike event wearing them.

    Default Check Out www.nightfirepatches.com

I'm glad to see more riders looking for reflective stuff on their clothes, helmets and bikes. Like you, I was looking for it and all I could find was road worker vests and so forth. So we designed and manufactured our own solution.

We now have an Eagle and other stylish patches that can be stuck on, ironed on and sewn on to leather, mesh, or denim. It is designed to look good in the day and is VERY bright in the headlights. We have lots of users on military bases where retroreflective is required and we exceed the standards for them.

We also do Helmet decals at reasonable prices in eight colors and eleven designs to fit your style whether you want to make a statement or go stealth with black on black.

We're very proud of what we are doing. I hope you like what you see at www.nightfirepatches.com

    Thanks
