"Held Fresh" summer gloves

Has anyone tried "Held Fresh" gloves?

I looking for a glove that with the following qualities (in order of importance):

1. Good protection in the event of an unfortunate crash at highway speeds
2. Good ventilation--not too hot for summertime use
3. Simple, black, "cruiser" styling (small amounts of reflective silver or white acceptable).
4. "Feel ability"--it would be nice to be able to remove my ID from my pocket and show to our gate guard at work without removing my glove.

It looks like these gloves from Held may be what I'm looking for, but it's hard to tell just from a picture & short description. I haven't seen them at any of the local shops. Anyway, if anyone has these gloves I'd love to hear your opinions.

They are available for $55 from Newenough.com, which seems very reasonable.

There is only one "bad" thing I can say about these gloves... no full gauntlet. i have a pair of the held "steve" gloves that i love and aren't too bad in the summer, but they are kinda warm. But as i have heard before, easier to wipe away sweat than flesh.

I'm picky about gloves. I have had over 5 of them...We seem to have the same criteria. I suggest trying them on somewhere before buying anything online.
