Question Jacket suggestions for large back protector?

Hi All,

I recently purchased a TPro Forcefield back protector insert that will be replacing the foam back protector in my jacket. The protector is 23inches long and 11inches at the widest point. I got the longest one, it covers the back all the way to the waist. Unfortunately the jacket I have does not have a long enough compartment to accommodate the back protector.

I was looking to buy a new jacket to go along with it.

My requirements go somewhat like this:
- Must be able to accommodate the 23" x 11" back pad
- Look decent on a cruiser, not too sporty.
- Preferably mesh type or one which has good venting.

Any suggestions? It seems most jackets out there won't be able to handle the protector .

Thanks in advance for your inputs!
-Salil

Hmm, I really want to be able to use the longer, 23" protector .

I tried a couple of smaller (in length) pads, but this one feels the safest, as it reaches all the way down.

Any other suggestions folks? If I don't find other options, I might have to use some velcro or duct tape magic

I would return it and get one of the strap on back protectors. That way you can wear any jacket you want. Doing a quick Google search shows TPro makes some nice long ones.
