Default Chaps protection?

Hello everyone, I have to wear dress clothes to my corp office that I work at. Changing at work is not an option. I ride my bike for commuting and haven't been wearing any protection on my legs. I have been looking at over pants but I can't be wrinkled. (boss is a stickler for looking nice) having an iron at work is not an option. Will chaps provide the protection that I need, keeping wrinkles to a min.? Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I don't see how chaps can cause less wrinkling than overpants. As for protection, this is a sort of gross picture but it makes the argument for my feelings about the protection provided by chaps to key portions of the anatomy.

I sure hope that shot is not forever etched in my mind.

Chaps won't keep you wrinkle free. They can help, if you land right, from scraping most parts of your legs. Can you get one of those steamer things to get some of those wrinkles out?

Geez guy, looks like you got drug. Chaps and a thong? I think chaps are only good for keeping cold air and debris off your legs while you're on the bike. Once you're off....kiss it good bye.

I think that looking dressy and motorcycling don't go together too well.

My advice? Get a new boss!

I ride to work in my dress clothes. If you happen to be wearing a dress one day riding in, would you give me a heads up ahead of time?!!!

If you fly me to Cali. I can be available to steam, press, etc. the wringkles out of your clothes. I can only do this for one week and the charge is minimal. Sorry if wrinkle free clothes are the answer, I doubt that riding a bike is going to work for you very often. Take care ride safe.

Chaps will help keep the road grime off of your pants and will add a little more protection for your legs from road rash. As for the wrinkles, keep a bottle of Downy Wrinkle Releaser on hand. It comes in a spray bottle. I use to take it with me when I traveled for business and it works great!!

I've been riding my bike everyday for the past 1 1/2 without leathers on except for gloves and jacket. I wanted to wear coverage on my legs but She (my boss) is freaking out. So wrinkle free I have to be.
