I'm looking at either these:
River Road Double Zipper Field Boots - Motorcycle Superstore or these: Dennis Kirk | Metric Bikes Main Page Nothing is etched in stone yet...just looking (but in a hurry...you know how that is ) |

These are the ones that I use, love them! Very comfortable for riding... I walked a mile in them once, that wasn't all that great, but for riding, very comfortable, anti-slip soles, zippered side, and I think they look good!!
![]() Redwing 967 I did NOT buy them from that website, went to a RedWing shoe store locally. I know nothing about the above website. |

You are willing to admit to doing the payless thing??
Guess you're not in Dix Hills lol Lets face it the "Orignal Bad Boy Motorcycle Boots" were really just a pair of engineeer boots. All that really counts is Oil resistant (a real good Idea) good fit (cool sucks when it hurts) The rest is really not that important of course the Brand Name may be the most important thing in buying boots because your feet really give a damn! Payless at $29.99 if they feel right seem the way to go Just make sure they are this year's payless don't want to offend the fashion police lol Last edited by Old Gray Beard : 06-13-2008 at 04:12 PM. I would have gone to Payless to get mine, but don't have one, and I have odd sized feet... so I had to get RedWings as they came in the 10 EEEEE size I need. I know... my feet are almost squares.

I've been wearing a pair of HD boots for 4+ years now. And they have been great. (they also double as my yard work boots)
I don't care for boots with side zippers as it is just one more place ot let the rain get in. Here are the boots I have. I'd buy another pair in a hearbeat if my local shoe store carried them again. Legend Boot Shop - ,

Anything with motorcycle stamped on them will be expensive. I bought these from Cabelas. Gore-Tex, breathable, tough, great tracktion, etc.

This is what I just ordered. I'll report on them once I get them. I was attracted to the non-metallic zipper and the waterproofness. We'll see...
