Default Scorpion Exo wear jackets

Due to the lack of women's gear in any of the local stores, I ordered a scorpion leather Nikki jacket online. I was wondering if anyone owns scorpion and has an opinion to share.

I wanted to get the Nip Tuck mesh jacket, because it will still be really hot where I live for another month or so, but its sold out EVERYWHERE. So I went with perforated leather. Does perforated leather really help in hot weather, and what is a good temp. range that leather is bareable in? I'm in the south so its humid and in the 80s, but its on the coast so it does cool down in the winter, and mesh would be too cold then.
And I figured safety-wise it wouldnt hurt to own leather.

Also, anyone know about sizing? I was able to try on a women's large and it seemed really small for a large, so I ordered a small. I usually wear extra small (5'1'' 105 pounds.) Thankfully the site I ordered from has a really good return/exchange policy incase it doesnt fit.

For summers down here you'll want mesh. The perf leather is good, but will be warm in the heat of summer at 90+. There's a local shop here called RideNow that carries mesh jackets for like 69 bucks, but I'm not too sure about womens sizes in those. they have other womens lines though.

What about temperatures in the high 80s and less? Im usually gone for the summers and only home from mid august to mid may. Should I get a mesh jacket for the next couple of months (mid august-sept.) or will leather be bareable?

Scorpion makes some pretty nice gear, My girlfriend has the Nip/Tuck Jacket, and she loves it, It moves a lot of air, and still has a feminine contour. She has it in medium, shes about 5'5" 120. and it fits her nicely.

BTW that NIKI leather jacket is sweet.

As for the perforated leather, My ICON Daytona jacket has perforations in it, and so far even riding in 90+ heat, i have been very comfortable. Now of course when im stopped for a bit, I get cooked, but for the most part its not bad. I do plan on getting a mesh jacket as well.

My wife is looking at the Nip Tuck as well. Down south here I'm afraid the perforated leather will not be cool enough for you. And as I just posted in another thread, you really need to own 2 jackets around here. Mesh for the hot humid summer, and something else for the milder/cold weather. Trying to get one jacket that will do it all is really difficult.

I just want to follow up.... I ended up with both the Scorpion's Nikki and Nip Tuck jacket so I could compare them and pick one. The Nikki is perforated leather but still very thick and warm, although it feels very safe, without being too bulky. The Nip Tuck fits very nicely and seems like it will be very breazy and cool to wear (even in black) but is not as much protection as the leather. The armor is pretty soft but supposively hardens up when absorbing shock, and they fit snugly which I think would be better than floating armor in a looser jacket.
I have to return one of them (until I save up more money) and it is hard to part with either of them. I'm keeping the Nip Tuck because it will be very hot in South Carolina for a few more months, but if I get a leather one later, it will probably be the Nikki.
