This post won't matter to the vast majority of you D's and EEE's out there, but for us B's and C's finding shoes that fit is a b****, especially in leather.
I've got narrow feet and hadn't had any luck finding decent motorcycle boots. My "bike boots" were Doc Marten's that were still too wide, but at least I could lace them up tight. FINALLY I found out that Red Wing makes narrow sizes. Ordered some from Zappos.com, got here in two days, very pleased. A little tight, but I learned the hard way in the Army that leather stretches, and if you insist that they give you boots that are comfy new, you'll be miserable after a couple hundred miles of road marches. Bad memories... They're actually sized a little small. I went to the website and they had a measuring chart. I'm usually a size 10, the site wanted me in a 9 for Red Wings. The RW website actually doesn't seem to have narrow sizes listed, but they are available from Zappos and other dealers. Red Wing Shoes Only bad thing is that they don't have a water "proof" model, just water "resistant". But I'll take what I can get. Last edited by theopowers : 08-31-2008 at 07:48 PM. |
