Just wondering if anyone else has an icon helmet, specifically an airframe, and a huge noggin? I wear a size 8 hat, and XXL in shoei helmets. When my XXL airframe came in from kneedraggers I could only get the thing about halfway down on my head. The guy at kneedraggers was cool about it though, and so far I'm only out the $8 or so to ship the helmet back to try a XXXL. Now I'm worried that this one will be too little as well. Anyone else found the Icon helmets to fit about a size small?

from what i hear everything they have fits small... though helmets from brand to brand are going to fit your noggin differently... some brands wont feel good no matter the size... really something you are going to want to do in person...

if you think icon helmets fit small try a scorpion full face!!! my head is average size IMO(more oval than round i would say) and i wear an icon mainframe halo in L. my half helmets are mostly medium size. hope this helps a bit.

Thanks for the feedback. I knew I shouldn't have tried to order a helmet online, but I really like the look and there's a local connection. They use something called dyneema in the shell, which is made here in the city where I live (it's made other places but I'd like to think I'm supporting the local folks and my father-in-law). But no one sells them locally. Oh well, maybe the "your head isn't THAT big is it?" size will fit.
