I want to start taking my daughter around town for a nice ride on the Vulcan. But want to know what gear to get for her, is there any way to lock her on to you. Or should she sit in front of me, shes 9yrs old.?????

At 9 she'll be fine. I started mine at 6. Just short rides. But get her a good helmet, armored jacket, gloves, and boots. At least I make mine wear all that.
And if something tragic were to happen and you both go down you don't want her strapped to you. She should ride on the back. If you have a sissy bar that is even better. I have my daughter hold on to that. Just start on short trips and let her work her way up to longer trips as she likes it more.

I ride with my 11 year old son a lot. Mainly on weekends and out of town with less traffic. He wears a full face helmet, boots, eyewear, gloves, and protective motorcycle jacket. He rides on back with no issues, but I would strongly recommend a sissy bar for the kids.
