Opinions Wanted - Scorpion PC Lens

I was just curious if anyone has any experience using the Scorpion Photochromatic faceshield for the EXO 400/700 series helmet. I'm mainly interested in how well/quickly it adjusts from light to dark, or if you find it annoying - especially when riding in the hills through shadows, etc.

I'm trying to find a good compromise for winter riding since it gets dark so early.

I just have the Scorpion clear and dark tinted face shields. It is dark in the morning when I go to work and often sunny on my way home. Since I don't want to take the dark shield with me, I just wear a pair of sunglasses under the clear one in the afternoons. You could try sunglasses and then when it starts getting dark, take them off at a stop sign or traffic light and put them in your tank bag or whatever.

Thanks - but I've tried the sunglasses thing and none have been comfortable enough to wear with the helmet.

I don't overly mind the clear shield, just was thinking the PC might be a good compromise.

I didn't know Scorpion was introducing one, but I've seen an example of what Akuma's photochromatic one does and IIRC it's about a minute or so until dark and a couple of minutes to get fully clear again. In fading light the shift wouldn't even be overly noticeable IMO.

Hmmm that's interesting I might have to look into one. I'd wanna know just how dark it gets.
