Default Trouble finding gear

Hello
i am looking for some direction since i am a new rider where to buy riding gear. I have ben i numerous local places(mass, ct, nh. me) but nothing really fits me right. i have found that i can do a special order on First Gear( not sure if that is the right name) but they want to charge me an arm and a leg for the jacket.
I am kind of odd size since i need XXLT and honestly dont want to spend 380-460 dollars on a riding jacket.
Any places that i check out online or in surrounding states please elt me know
Thank you

I have had good experiences with Motorcycle Superstore, New Enough and Iron Pony. I don't know what gear is available for very tall people though as I'm on the short side I just know all those places have good return policies. Be sure to read the manufacturer's size charts before you order for the best results. Motorcycle gear in general is not sized like regular street clothes. I have seen some pants that purposefully are made extra long so people can cut them to the length they need and that might help you. As for jackets I guess I'd look at the 3/4 length ones rather than the short sporty ones. That won't help your sleeve length but maybe wearing gloves with long gauntlets will take care of a short sleeve problem.

Got mine at Leather up for a real cheap price. Two things to say about that:
1. Had to return for a larger size (I ordered one plus as it were and had to go up another) Perhaps they are dealing with small chinese people when they say XL. This meant that I had to wait 4 weeks for them to get their act together to send out a replacement.
2. Prices were very good and quality is just OK. Zippers are a lot more on the lean, thin brass side and I suspect snaps and buttons are too. However, you get what you pay for. (The leather is very good and heavy, so no complaint there.) So over all I was satisfied for the price. Heavy leather jacket $99.00
