Question Got a New Carbon Look?

I just got my bike done, theres a company in my area that does water transfer printing, some kind of process where the parts are dipped in a carbon fiber. then clearcoated. has anyone ever seen this before? Ive decided to post this with some pics, if i can get it all to work. . Anyway people who have seen the bike have given mixed responses, although 8 out of 10 did like it. Most said , wow check it out ,, they did the engine cases to? how did they get it around the hole part? Others who didnt like it said, it looks good but its not real carbon fiber? Anyway you can check them out if you like, they treated me well and there prices where very reasonable. the website is hydrographicprinting.com
Let me know what you think

Hey, I for one think it looks great. Don't bother with those people who poo-poo over your mod's. Who cares if it's not "real' carbon fiber. It looks pretty cool.

Not bad! What kind of turn around time did they have for you?

There are quit a few companies out there doing the film dipping....thats all it is a carbon fiber look a like film and the part is completley dipped for a clean finished look. A local company here does camo film dipping....you can send them anything that will fit in the tank and they can dip it...camo or any other design as well. Lots of guys are sending truck parts to them such as fender flares, dashboard trim, interior trim, door handles etc...you name it. The stuff looks great and is surprisingly durable. I can think of all kinds of custom applications for cycles so it makes sense. The work isn't cheap however, but than again, is anything?

btw, I like the carbon fiber look! Adds a nice touch.
