2007 Vulcan 900 Custom - $4300 OBO in Lapeer, MI

For sale is a 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom with 14,XXX miles on it, under warranty until April 2011. Never been down or dropped. Bike is bone stock (besides exhaust debaffle - sounds BA) and in excellent condition. Color is a beautiful Candy Plasma Blue. It looks, runs, and rides like new. It has always been very well maintained and was always garage-stored. I’ve run Amsoil fully synthetic since break-in (changed every 3000 miles), changed the plugs, air filter, and the bike has a new Metzeler 180 rear tire. I got 50 mpg consistently with a mix of highway and city riding – it’s a great way to save cash on your daily commute. Bike has an awesome 21” cast aluminum front rim. It’ a little dusty in the pics because they were taken just after I took it out of storage and I haven’t had a chance to detail it yet due to the weather, but plan to this week. Bike has always been kept very clean and washed after rides. There is one small ding on the top of the tank near the gas cap, but it’s hardly even noticeable. You won’t find a nicer 900 Custom for the price. Bike is priced for a quick sale. Title is in hand, just bring the cash! $4300 OBO. (810)624-0018. Upgrading to something bigger, I've always been a big fan of the Harley Street Bobs. I bought the Kawi during the Go Green sale, couldn't pass it up. Not to say that I don't love my custom, I'm just more a fan of the nostalgic bikes.

Just detailed the bike, here's a new pic. I'm amazed at how little interest I've gotten so far seeing that I'm only asking 4300. I guess it just goes to show how little confidence people have in the economy right now. BTW, I checked the odometer and the actual mileage is right around 13,100.

Did you list it up on craigslist? I sold my 900 after 11 days. There are buyers you just have to make it visible to the most people possible. I'd put a small For Sale sign in front of the handle bars and park it where it can be seen during the day.

yep, bike is listed on craigslist in two different areas...and will also be in my local auto & rv trader mag this Wednesday. Just had a guy from ohio call today, he might be coming to take a look. I'm just anxious to sell the damn thing....it's getting warm here and I don't want to have any downtime!!!
