Chuckster, We bought a 2006 Yamaha Midnight Star Venture touring bike. V-4, 5 speed tranny with overdrive AM/FM/Cassette/CD/Intercom/CB - set up to do some serious 2 up touring! Great bike and we love it.

Wish I could keep my Kawi too - but I can't justify 2 payments. Bummer!

I am out of sorts! Ha!
I can't stand having this beautiful bike and not riding it... sitting there in my garage all dressed up for nada! ha!
I am golfing now and playing guitar... and now have been diagnosed with protruding disks and arthritis in my back... so I am in a pickle, in a jam, in a quandary, a dilemma... need I say more? ha!
And since I am on disability it's ridiculous to be paying on a charge card for my bike.... AND DAWNS! OY! And what if she crashes? Ha,
OK I'll Keep The Bike!
Now, stop harassing me.
Whaaaa haaaa haaaa! kidding!

Yep Annie - she's gone. Guy from Tampa, FL drove up and trailered her back south. Sad to see her go, but at least I have my Venture! Where ya been? Everything OK I hope!

God I know it hurts seeing your precious bike go... I HATED leaving mine (the 800) at the dealer! We need to trust the bikes are being well taken care of... We need a support group for "Loss of bikes" Or "Motorcycles Anonymous".

You sure are having bad luck with your back! You and I are in a similar situation. I had an MRI a couple months ago and found out I have 2 bulging disks and a torn disk in my lower back. Already had the lower back operated on in 1999 and 2 neck fusions in 1992 and 1996. The dr said I don't need surgery so have been giving me cortisone shots in my lower back but not much luck with that. He now wants to do epidural steroid injections into the damaged disks. I have another appointment tomorrow (Monday) so will see whats up. I know the pain your in but try and keep some excercise going even some stretching if you can. I also have been going to a deep muscle massage therapist and he has helped more than any shots I've had.

Sorry to hear your selling your new Meanie. If your serious about selling it don't forget to list it free on craigslist also for more exposure. If I had the $$$ I'd come and get it!

Yoy take care and don't be a stranger! You don't have to own a bike to enjoy visiting with us.
