Wanted: 82-83 KZ1100 Spectre or Ltd parts bike

Need a 1982 to 83 Kawasaki KZ1100 Spectre or Ltd for a parts bike or a decent bike at a decent price that I can use my parts for. Must have tank, side covers, seat, wiring harness, fenders and front forks/triple tree! Other items I could use but not as important: exhaust system, grab bar, rear shocks and instrument cluster.

Another member told me these people have two large buildings full of older bikes they are parting out. They are in Iowa, Ashbys Cycle 641-437-1842. They might have what you need.

Thanks for your reply exmx I have the rear swing arm and wheels , what I am still lacking is a tank, side covers, wiring harness, grab bar, rear fender instrument panel (speedo,tach and indicator lights) and exhaust system.

i think i still have the rear fender , air shocks as well - maybe the side panels
i have a complete engine with low miles as well- but the left outside ex stud was damaged ,and needs fixed - not a big deal-
let me know if interested in the rear fender,ect...

I have a nice running 82 1100 spector-not so good on stopping as of today,I lost the inside half of rear brake pad holder??strange..other than that,nice bike.new paint, seals in front forks,tires,jets..$2500,or help w/finding rear brake part that fell off!!!

I have an '82 Spectre 1100D1 that I bought new in '82. I just bought another one on e-bay for $530.00 Below is a video the seller posted on youtube and is the actual bike that I bought, I think it was a good deal, and I drove from here (Las Vegas) to L.A. to pick it up. A little something you might not know, the instrument clusters between the '82 and '83 are NOT interchangeable. there are a few other parts on this list, some you might not guess. Feel free to contact me if you need to know more, I can e-mail you parts fiche drawings if you need them, low res. but better than nothing, probably can't post them here because there may be copywrite restrictions.

I have a 82 1100 dust-spectre in my garage.Missing is 50&#37; of the exaust.60% of the bottom edge of the seat pan (normal) It has a 650 tank. Brake system is in a box but all there. Carbs frozen but not beyond saving motor will run when sprayed . Rest of bike is there wiring is not hacked up susp. inst.sidecovers fenders .Its a roller,I replaced tires just so I could move it around other projects.I bought it for stealing parts off for my gpz but I didn't need much. Tell me what you specificly need and what you will give and I'l throw it in a flat rate box if it'll fit and to hell with webay and paypal
