Default Exhaust nozzle

Although the Teryx runs pretty darn good, it is a little constipated when it comes to the exhaust. The factory nozzle out of the muffler is necked down to 7/8" ID providing a lot of restriction and holding in extra heat. The heat is enough to where the muffler end turned blue.

The actual outlet on the muffler is just under 1.5". The heat is enough to where the muffler end turned blue. I replaced the factory nozzle with an aftermarket that has a full 1.5 ID (spark arrester included). There is a significant improvement in accelration and a lot less heat now.

Way cool.

There's a buttload of aftermarket available for the Yamaha Rhino... I'm sure the market will be comparable for the Teryx. Pipes, rev limiter kits, custom seats, bikini tops, windshields, etc....

The aftermarket manufactures have kicked things into overdrive and there are tons of custom parts out there already.

Those tips looks good...a tad of a performance gain, I would be surprised though is they have an approved USFS spark arrestor.

There are a ton of parts out there for the Teryx...so no worries

It has helped it breath a little better and the heat is down some. It was really choked off with the factory nozzle.

I doubt it is really approved also (spark arrestor).

Glad to see you came in and hope you put some shots of your Teryx up.

There are several makers of exhaust systems for the Teryx, but they are still rather proud of their product. Muzzy makes a nice exhaust, but you can dump close to a grand on just pipes in a heartbeat.

After the breakin period a Dynatec CDI and Clutch Kit will be the first real mods. Still have a few hours to go before I can get crazy with this thing

Lobo, we are giving away a clutch kit and billet clutch cover, you should try for that

Yes the Muzzys are a tad pricey, however, the look and sound of them just cannot be beat. But of course money just doesn't appear.

We have them on our Teryx...have you seen them?

I haven't seen a close up of them yet, but understand they are the trick set up.

I gave the contest a shot in the dark

A constipated Teryx...LOL

It's a good thing you got that fixed Ken. It could be an ugly site to see a Teryx stalled alongside a trail due to constipation.

Very nice!!!

Dieselpowered: Thanks for all the cool pictures but be very very careful with your advertising and please read the forum rules. No website links in the signature. I like the mods to your Teryx. Welcome to the forum.

The signature has been removed, were you under the impression that I am a dealer trying to sell products? I was just showing him what the exhaust looks like.
