WTB KZ1000 police windshield fairing

hey all,
sorry if trading/selling/request is prohibited. I didn't see it in my (quick) perusal of forum rules.
I got a little chunk of change for my birthday and i'd like to get my hands on a police fairing for a 1980 KZ1000. I don't have the police KZ1000, just a KZ1000E. However, i'm fairly good with fab-ing up brackets and things, so i'm pretty sure i could get a fairing on there.
I've searched nearby craigslists and ebay, and have not seen any. Was thinking maybe someone who pulled the fairing off of a police KZ1000 might be willing to part with it.
I'd like the lights and windshield with the fairing, at least the headlamp(mine is cracked, so i need a new one anyway). I can get new, legally-colored, side lamps that will fit in the fairing. If it's scratched up or something i don't mind that too much either, i'm fairly handy with bondo.

I'm sure you can make the fairing fit the 1980 KZ1000 but the fairing wasn't introduced till 1982 on the KZP.

Thought that might help you in your search. Where are you located at?

I am in the seacoast area of NH, but i travel semi-weekly to worcestor, MA.

I just noticed that vetter windjammer fairings were also avialable for KZ1000's. Does anyone know how well those compare to the KZP fairings?
