What the heck is this? Supposed 1982 GPz 550

Here's the ad: 1982 Kawasaki GPZ 550

Now I know my GPz inside and out. Well, I will know it inside soon
But I saw this ad which of course got my attention. However, some things don't look right.
Namely, the 7,000 RPM redline on the tach. The GPz 550 should rev to 10k right? (If not, it might explain why mine is having issues, I've run this one all the way to 10.5 and my old motor up to 11.5 once.)
In fact, the gauges don't look right at all. No gas gauge, no lcd display
Another thing that doesn't look right is the side reflector. Mine didn't come with one and there's no attachment point for one at that spot on my bike.

So, is this a GPz with Kz gauges and a randomly placed reflector? Was there a low end GPz with a KZ engine (hence the lower red line)?

That looks more like an 84 to me, the gauges must be off something else, not a KZ 4cyl. My 1000 redlines at 8500, and my 750 at 9000.

Well, I know it's not an 84 GPz, 80-83 came in any color you could imagine, as long as it was red. But the real tip-off that it's not an 84 is the 84 550 had a fixed headlight and fairing, the 80-83 it turned with the bars.
