Default '79' KZ1300 Goodness

Whats it worth???

35000 original miles. One owner
All original body and paint. All perfect condition. Just some small small small paint chips.
All Braided brake lines
Fork brace
Sport shield with matching paint and stripes. Some added custom striping.
Air shocks front and rear with gauges. Have original rear shocks.
King Queen seat with backrest rack. Have stock seat in brand new condition.
Chrome side covers and more.
Crash bars with fold down foot pegs.
GrabOn grips and handle cruise controll.
Dunlops with lots of tread left.

She,s a unique beauty! Wow! Id give three grand maybe four for her! They are the biggest and the last of the "KZs". Thats an interesting fairing, rather unusual for the 1300, but cool!

There is an article on 6-cylinder bikes in this months "Motorcycle Classics". They claim the Honda CBX is worth more than the KZ. Guess it's more collected. Here's one for sale:

I don't know. Had one like this when they first came out. The handle bars don't look stock. Did you buy it or inherit it?

I have seen a 1983 1300 for sale in the city I live in that is in as good of shape as this one. The guy is asking $2300 for it but he has had up for sale for a few months. I do not know anything about the collectability of your particular model but I had a 1971 KZ900 restored and I was only able to get $2500 for it a few years ago. Good Luck!
