Hi there!
My name is Peter and I have a kz1000r form 1983 (live in Sweden). And I wonder if the rear shocks are rebuildable or not. Are there any other shocks I can use that is not to expensive? Read somwhere that shocks from Goldwing should fit. Is that true? Regards Peter |

Hello Peter...as you well know...the shocks for your bike are rather expensive and replacement shocks equally expensive. If you haven't done so already, post this same question on www.kz1000R.com

The shock guy may be able to do the KZ1000R shocks if they can be done. His web site is Aftershocks - The Suspension Experts He's on the west coast. You could contact him to see if they can be reworked and how much it would cost. Nothing to lose and possibly a goodly amount of money to be saved.
