Default '86 GPZ 900 water pump

I am looking around for anyone who knows where you can get a water pump for the '86 GPZ900. My father owns this bike and is in need of a little help...

ebbaayy. I just did a quick search for GPZ900 water pump & there were a couple. I'm sure other searches will yield more results, because the cross-reference at Kawasaki.com for the ZX900 shows that a number of bikes have the same pump, including the 86-99 Concours.

I'm assuming the GPz900 = ZX900.

Default Water Pump

I bought one new a couple years back for an '86 1000R from bikebandit.com. Expensive sucker- it was like $160.

What's the problem he's having? Sometimes you can just pull the pump and replace an O-ring for $0.65 to fix it and not have to buy a whole new pump. I was able to do that on another '86 1000R.
