KZ 1000 Police motor number

Hello everyone. Im currently ebaying some parts off an old police bike motor but dont know the year. The engine number is KZT00JEO50723. Thanx for your help in advance.

It's 85 or later but can't I can't find the exact year for it. Engine #'s for 1985 started at 047501 but I don't know the ending number for that year or any numbers for the following years.

Thanx for the info. I think for some reason its an 89. I dont really know for sure though. I have to asume that the J in the engine number means that it is a "J" bike?

In 81 Kaw changed their engine design for the 1000 cc engine and it is a J model engine. The J model engine was used on the 81-present 1000 police model bikes as well as some other earlier bikes including mine.
