I believe in the context that you heard it and who you heard it from it would be translated to cylinders.

U guy are halarious...Thanks StarGate, I just wasn't sure if he was talking about the cylinders or something to do with the carbs. So does having a dirty hole I mean cylinder me that the pistion ring is blown? Would a compression check detect this?

From what I remember you saying you have some cylinders that aren't running right. Try to get them cleaned up so that it's running good on all cylinders and you should be able to get the idle you are looking for. As for why the cylinders aren't hitting right, it could be a lot of things but we'd need more info and checks to be sure. A valve adjustment then compression test wouldn't be a bad idea to do next.
