Default Need some help here:

I've a 1982 Kawasaki Spectre KZ1100D that I have been working on for the last week (wiring issues etc). The starter relay was kaput! Piked up another to replace. Here is My question:

Old relay had two wires from unit, one black wire, and one Black with yellow stripe which plugged into harness.

Can anyone tell me which of those two wires would be Hot (Blk wire or Blk with yellow stripe)?

The new relay has only one wire coming out of unit (Red). I would like to hook this unit up but............I DO NOT want to burn it up. Can't get answer from local shop (They don't have old manual on hand).

Thanks to all for your help.

My manuals only are only 1980 and before, but all the wiring diagrames show the Yellow/Black wire to be the common "ground" wire.
