Default rear indicators

you can find stock style rear signal indicators on ebay, or go for the newer mini style, like I did

Nice bike. Looks all clean and shiny.

Where did you source the exhaust from? Did it come with the bike or did you find a replacement else where? I have to find something for my '84 GPz1100.

I've got a set of the reproduction signals I haven't put on yet. The ones advertised on ebay are almost indistingusishable from the origninals

I tried severall different brands of tires, Maxxis, Dunlop, Metz, one tire I really didn't like was Dunlop GT501's the longevity was pi$$ poor, and those tires are pricey (but very sticky). However, you get a 25 year old bike out on the track, now you will probably notice differences in tires and draw different conclusions...
That $100 difference in a set of tires is insignificant compared to the cost of one of my restorations. Every time I have ever crashed a motorcycle, it has been on a flaky rear tire. So it could be a NEW Cheng Shin but it's going to be a GONE Cheng Shin. Until someone comes out with tires better than a BT-45V, I don't have a tire decision. I just check the fitment chart, and lever a set on.

I love the "white" colour scheme !
I remember them in the shops in England and thought thet really stood out from the crowd!
No offence to other colour schemes - but the white was unusual!

What did you use on the motor? It looks better than new paint!

Keep us up to date - especially with photos.

The motor is painted for now anyway. Just Duplicolor black semi-gloss on the case and gloss black on the covers. Eventually, I want to powdercoat the covers, but this will have to do for now.

Were your horns mounted that way from the factory? I ask because when I added an oil cooler to my bike I mounted it using what was originally the horn bracket mounting holes and I had to get creative to mount my horns. As you can see it's very similar to what you have but I added a slight tilt back on the outside edge to direct the sound at more of an angle, so I was curious.

This bike came with a factory oil cooler, so I already had the original brackets.

I know that model came with a factory oil cooler (mine came off of a gpz) but but I wasn't sure if that is where the horns were mounted from the factory.
