NEW HERE: 1972 G3SS-B owner, with questions

Picked up a 1972 g3ss last night. really good shape, cosmetically, about 6k on the ticker. Kickstart won't budge, so I think it will need a top end rebuild. For what I paid, and what it's worth, I don't think a top-end rebuild would be worth it. Anyone know where to pick up another engine? The carb and everything else is pristine; even the inside of the tank is good! If no one knows where to find another motor, where is the cheapest place for a piston, sleeve, rings, and gaskets? Do they make clone engines for these little tiddlers?

There are no clone engines made for these bikes. There are no, or very few parts available through Kawasaki for these bikes. The cheapest place for parts is most likely on ebay. As far as I can see from the pic, your bike is worth a top end rebuild and a used tail light assy.
