Another Kawasaki Acquisition

Well guys I scored another Classic Kawy. This time a 1981 KZ440 LTD beltdrive with less then 5000 miles on it for free. That's right, it was in the way and somebody wanted it gone, and I knew the guy who knew the guys that wanted it gone.

Seems it was bought nearly new and just forgotten about. I still need the keys and carbs, as everything was put away while it sat outside under cover.

The big problem will be the front brake system. I couldn't believe how good the rubber was after I got it loaded on my trailer. The tires are in great shape. There are socks left in the carb holders, but hopefully with some oil she'll be loose.

It should be a nice project bike. Probably not for myself, but we'll see what happens.

WOW. If I had your luck....

I got my bike for 75 bucks and I thought I was lucky.

I have put a total of about $250 put in my F7 175(she still dont run yet). LOL and my cuz got his 150 for $3K. I guess I am lucky. Nice work, your bike will be done in no time I'm sure.
