    Default gpz 750 exhaust

Rode mt bike yesterday and heard loud tapping noise . Found out today that one of my exhaust pipes is kinda loose, but tightened down all the way. It is a 4 into 1 chrome header. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Could be that the copper compression ring for the exhaust is shot or missing. The ring mounts between the header pipe and the exhaust port and provides a seal. If it's missing you may not get the pipe tight enough to stop the rattle.

The answer Forest gave is the only thing I can think of as well.
P.S. I thought I was only blue GPz750 out there. Guess it's back to the paint booth for me.

I thought both bikes looked good. My other project, the Ninja is blue so I thought that blue would be good for the GPz aswell. Matches my blue helmet, though I was going to paint w/o fleck.

That is un-real. I looked at that sight and that bike got my attention as well. I was torn between yellow and Kawasaki green, but than my cousin got a green ZX9R so I was on my way to get yellow paint. Than the painter called and said he had Bonzai Blue left over from a Dodge Dakota and I could have the paint for free. Free won out.

The only real difference in the paint scheme on our bikes is that I had the side grab rails painted blue as well to blend in the look all the way to the tail. Forest, paint it blue. Confuses the heck out of Suzuki riders.

I thought the yellow was great too. My GPz is yellow right now but the flame job put on the bike was brutal. I like this one too

The guy that sold me that bike put a 117 5 jet in it and left what looks like the stock needle in it . does that sound right?
